During my tenure at a medical mammography software company, I developed several user interface designs aimed at enhancing the workflow for radiologists in detecting breast tissue cancers. These designs were specifically tailored for an iPad layout, facilitating a more efficient reporting process.

Through my visits to various clinicians and hospitals, I observed that radiologists often work in dimly lit environments, analyzing images and dictating their findings. Given that approximately 80% of exams yield normal results, I recognized the need for a solution that would allow radiologists to complete their reports seamlessly from anywhere within the clinic.

The proposed software solution is both encrypted and HIPAA-compliant, ensuring the highest standards of data security. With just a few clicks, radiologists can finalize their reports, which are then automatically sent to the clinician. This streamlined process enables clinicians to quickly generate and distribute letters of recommendation to patients via email, mail, or upload, ultimately improving operational efficiency and patient care.
